CHARLESTON, S.C. (Jan. 18, 2012) – Slated to kick off in only four months, online applications continue to roll in for the 11th edition of the National Cup, one of US Club Soccer’s two national championship competitions.
The National Cup XI will include Regionals in six locations ahead of the National Cup XI Finals, which will be held July 27-30 at Waukegan Sports Park in the Chicago area.
National Cup XI Regionals are open to U-11 through U-18/19 boys’ and girls’ teams with two competitive divisions available to better allow teams to compete at an appropriate level. Regional championship-winning teams in the U-13 through U-17 age groups will advance to the National Cup XI Finals, where national championships will be awarded.

US Club Soccer kicks off 2012 at the NSCAA Convention
US Club Soccer kicked off 2012 with a successful presence at the NSCAA Convention in Kansas City, Mo., Jan. 12-14. Highlights of the event included a field session as well as a presentation detailing the integration and development of the organization’s competitive platforms, such as the National Premier Leagues and National Cup, and player identification programs.
