In addition to its club members, US Club Soccer sanctions yout and adult leagues throughout the country. Current member leagues include local and regional competitive and travel leagues, and younger age developmental and in-house leagues (rec programs). Teams can come from member clubs, or other teams that only participate in the league itself. Currently, teams from 28 states and Canada compete in US Club Soccer sanctioned leagues. The pages in this section of our website detail our league sanctioning program and provide information on how to apply.
US Club Soccer League Sanctioning Benefits:
Provides freedom and self-determination with no interference.
There is no league sanctioning fee.
The league may include clubs from a number of states with no state boundaries and no travel or other permissions required.
The goals of the league, number and frequency of games, and scheduling are left up to the teams to determine.
There is no mandate for youth small-sided games. We believe small-sided games are important to player development, but leagues and clubs should decide this, not us.
Players who are registered may use their passcards in other competitions.
Playing brackets can be based on the teams’ competitive level. Adult leagues may have co-ed brackets.
The league may tailor roster and other rules to meet their competition goals. Our online system allows a maximum of 26 roster players with roster freeze dates set by each league.
All players and staff register online. League administrators may view rosters and other registration information on their dedicated league admin website, and download addresses and other player data from their site. Checking proof of birth is optional for adult teams (over U20).
Leagues and league teams may sanction tournaments through US Club Soccer at no fee.
Administration procedures are flexible. If desired, league administrators may print their own player cards, check player documentation themselves or email the cards directly to the team.
Coaches of league member teams can receive a discount on NSCAA membership. We can also develop NSCAA courses specifically for our league members.
Leagues can develop training programs with competitive clubs.
US Club Soccer liability and medical insurance covers all youth league administrators, member teams, and participants. Medical coverage is optional for adult leagues.
There are no age restrictions. Teams can consist of players up to U20 for youth, and above U20 for adult.
