US Club Soccer will provide assistance to clubs on a variety of business and technical matters through its staff and technical committee.  The objectives are to create a roadmap for club growth and development, assist clubs in addressing specific development issues, and empower them through sanctioning to implement these programs.

US Club Soccer will retain a technical director and club services director to assist clubs with these issues.  Just as valuable, however, is to facilitate member clubs helping other member clubs.  It’s important for clubs to share “best practices” and other programs and ideas, but with the understanding that local variations will exist due to weather, geographical proximity to other competition, and the nature of other local soccer organizations.

In addition to hands-on assistance, later versions of the website will incorporate an online resource center to offer access to program and other information.  A number of these club services programs will develop over time, but subjects to be addressed include:

• Technical structure and programs.
• Training philosophy, guidelines, and techniques.
• International training opportunities.
• How to run a successful tournament or other events.
• How to write a business plan to attract investment and achieve a long range vision for the club organization. 
• Methods to achieve financial growth and stability.
• Club administration programs.
• Productive utilization of volunteers.
• Facility development programs and foundation grants.
• Strategic marketing and public relations.
• Sponsorship solicitation and fulfillment.
