The native Argentinian, who attended high school in Brazil, graduated with a bachelor's degree in sport and entertainment management and a minor in business from the University of South Carolina in 2003. Upon graduation, Garcia became a full-time hire for US Club Soccer after interning with cc&c management group since 2001. Fluent in Spanish and Portuguese, Garcia served as event coordinator until he was promoted to the Director of Event Marketing and Operations in 2006.

Garcia is based in Charleston, S.C.
