National Cup VIII application fee surcharge delayed

CHARLESTON, S.C. (April 20, 2009) – Consistent with US Club Soccer’s philosophy to obtain feedback from and listen to our members, the organization has decided that the $100 surcharge for the National Cup VIII application fee will now be implemented 30 days prior to each National Cup VIII Regional event.
In previous years, the surcharge was implemented in mid-April for all National Cup Regionals.
Recognizing teams’ formation plans and the fact that summer schedules are more uncertain this year than in the past, US Club Soccer opted to move to an event-specific surcharge.
This benefits teams planning to register for National Cup VIII, as the change allows more time to register at the original application fees of $795 for U-13 through U-18/19 teams and $595 for U-11 and U-12 teams.
