US Club Soccer enhances social media offerings

CHARLESTON, S.C. (June 22, 2010) – US Club Soccer is making it easier to stay updated on the latest news and events thanks to an increased social media presence, including the launch of a new US Club Soccer Facebook page and an improved YouTube Channel.

US Club Soccer invites you to become a fan of the organization’s new Facebook page, the best place to find all the latest news, photos, videos and more from the National Cup, id2 and US Club Soccer’s other programs and events. Fans will also have the chance to connect to fellow soccer fans, as well as US Club Soccer-sanctioned leagues, clubs and partners from around the country.

For all the latest videos, subscribe to the US Club Soccer YouTube Channel. The site features episodes of Today at the Cup, US Club Soccer’s official highlight show from the 2010 National Cup IX, as well as video journals from the 2010 id2 National Selection International Tour to the Netherlands and Germany and other id2 camps.

“Our enhanced social media presence will give us the opportunity to not only provide online content to our current followers in a different way, but will also help us reach a new, larger audience,” said Bill Sage, US Club Soccer’s Executive Director.

The goal of US Club Soccer’s enhanced social media presence is to better engage its audience with the organization’s philosophy, programs and events while providing for a new level of interaction.
