2010 Penn Cup for U-11 through U-15 teams slated for Nov. 20-21 in West Chester, Pa.

CHARLESTON, S.C. (April 21, 2010) – US Club Soccer is pleased to announce that the 2010 Penn Cup for U-11 through U-15 teams will be held Nov. 20-21 in West Chester, Pa.
The event will take place at Delacy Soccer Complex and Thornbury Soccer Park, home of West Chester United SC.
The West Penn Cup has been held in past years, and the East Penn Cup was introduced in 2009. The 2010 Penn Cup represents the unification of these events for eastern and western Pennsylvania clubs and teams.
Member teams from throughout the state of Pennsylvania may apply to the Penn Cup. Squads that are not currently members may join prior to competing.
Teams are guaranteed a minimum of three games, and a fourth (championship) contest will be played depending upon the number of teams in each group. Additionally, winners will be given preferential seeding at US Club Soccer’s 2011 National Cup X Regionals.
All games are 60 minutes in length. U-11 teams will play in an 8 vs. 8 format, while all other age groups will play in a full-sided 11 vs. 11 format.
Application fees [link to online application] are $499 for U-11 and U-12 teams and $525 for U-13 through U-15 squads. The deadline to apply is Nov. 1.
