South Carolina United Battery claims Southeast Pre-Academy League Playoff championship

Thanks to a victory over Charlotte Soccer Academy on Monday, South Carolina United Battery claimed the Southeast Pre-Academy League Playoff championship.
The event, which also included a Player Development Program (PDP), took place at the WRAL Soccer Center in Raleigh, N.C.
With the win, South Carolina United Battery advances to the inaugural National Premier Leagues (NPL) Champions Cup, where NPL national championships will be awarded. That event will be held July 27-31 at Waukegan Sports Park in Waukegan, Ill.

The Southeast Pre-Academy League Playoffs / PDP kicked off this morning at the WRAL Soccer Center in Raleigh, N.C. The morning opened with a PDP training session involving top players from across the league born in 1999. The PDP participants will return at 5 p.m. for 11v11 scrimmages.
The Southeast Pre-Academy League Playoffs opened this afternoon with the first of two group matches between the six qualifying teams. Each team will play a piar of qualifying matches with the top two teams advancing to Monday's championship match.
The Southeast Pre-Academy League champion will then advance to the inaugural National Premier Leagues (NPL) Champions Cup, where NPL national championships will be awarded. That event will be held July 27-31 at Waukegan Sports Park in Waukegan, Ill.

The Southeast Pre-Academy League will host its playoffs this weekend on May 26-28 at the WRAL Soccer Center in Raleigh, N.C. The top six U-14 teams have qualified for the playoffs, which will begin with group games on Saturday and Sunday. The top two teams will then advance to Monday’s championship game.
