The National Cup XI Northeast Regional has drawn to a close as the remaining 15 Regional titles were awarded Monday in LaGrangeville, N.Y.

Leading the way with a pair of championships were Ironbound SC, Eastern FC and Hans Soliz Soccer School, as each club earned two titles in boys divisions. In all, 16 teams claimed Northeast Regional crowns.

Squads in the U-13 through U-17 age groups advance to the National Cup XI Finals, slated for July 27-30 in Waukegan, Ill.

The first champion of the National Cup XI Northeast Regional has been crowned, as Mount Laurel United Flash (N.J.) claimed the U-13 girls Super Group championship.

By the end of the day tomorrow, the remaining 15 Regional titles will be handed out in LaGrangevile, N.Y. Squads in the U-13 through U-17 age groups will look to book their tickets to the National Cup XI Finals, slated for July 27-30 in Waukegan, Ill.

The National Cup XI Northeast Regional kicked off Saturday with teams competing for Regional titles in 16 different divisions. The event is taking place at Stringham Park and surrounding facilities in LaGrangevile, N.Y., and runs through May 28.

As the Regional continues through Monday, teams will look to earn a place in the championship matches in each division. Squads in the U-13 through U-17 age groups will look to book their tickets to the National Cup XI Finals, slated for July 27-30 in Waukegan, Ill.

The National Cup XI gets underway with the Northeast Regional May 26-28 in LaGrangeville, N.Y. Teams will be competing in age groups from U-11 through U-18/19 during the first of five weekends of Regional play.

The winners from each Regional in the U-13 through U-17 age groups will advance to the National Cup XI Finals, to be held July 27-30 in Waukegan, Ill. In all, there are seven Regionals in six cities across the country between this weekend and July 6-9.
