US Club Soccer Unveils New Website
MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (April 6, 2005) – US Club Soccer unveiled a new version of its website, www.usclubsoccer.org, today. The changes were made to provide US Club Soccer’s website with an improved navigation tool and a fresh, clean design.
“Our new website is a positive step forward towards offering our members and potential members the most thorough, accurate and up-to-date information on US Club Soccer,” said Bill Sage, Executive Director of US Club Soccer. “We are excited about its release and the anticipated response of our website users.”
The US Club Soccer website, www.usclubsoccer.org, is the ultimate source for information regarding the support and development of competitive soccer clubs. Details pertaining to US Club Soccer’s club and league membership services, online passcard processing system, tournament sanctioning, insurance information and coaching resources are among the wealth of materials that can be found on the website. Press releases and announcements addressing US Club Soccer’s programs and events are routinely published to the site.
Competition info, such as schedules, results and photos, for The National Cup, the id2 National Training Camp, the Champions League Cup and State Cups is also posted on www.usclubsoccer.org. In addition, a number of forms including roster, insurance, medical and staff risk assessment documents are available for download on the US Club Soccer website.
“As our website traffic has substantially increased in the past year, we realize the importance of presenting information concerning our programs and events in a clear, concise manner to our users,” said Sage. “These website changes will help us communicate with our members and prospective members on an even higher level.”
Once the bulk of spring card processing is completed, US Club Soccer will debut an updated version of its “Members Only” area, which will streamline the card processing system. For the time being, members will continue to be directed to the current “Members Only” area. When the revamped “Members Only” section launches, members will benefit from a number of new features including the ability to pay for their team(s) or club’s player and staff passcards online with a credit card. The online payment system, utilizing a Secure Socket Layer (SSL), will significantly decrease the turnaround time to get the passcards into members’ hands.
US Club Soccer’s website, www.usclubsoccer.org, first launched in January 2002 and pioneered the nation’s first youth soccer online registration system.
