Ford and its Great Lakes area dealerships have teamed up with US Club Soccer and iSoccer to deliver a great grassroots program: the Ford Soccer Skills Challenge.

It’s free, it’s fun, and it allows boys and girls the ability to test their soccer skills in their local communities.

Over 100 local skills challenges will take place from May through August 2013 at area soccer clubs, complexes, tournaments, YMCAs and schools around the Great Lakes region in conjunction with local Ford dealers.

The local soccer skills challenge events will be coordinated in conjunction with Ford dealers and will comprise an individual skills challenge, and possibly also a team skills challenge.

Individual Skills – Boys and girls can register to compete in six soccer skills exercises against others of the same gender and age division, as follows:

Team Skills – Teams may register to compete in three soccer skills exercises against others of the same gender and age division, as follows:

A team is considered 6 or more individuals that compete as a unit.

Individual winners of all local events will be invited to participate at a Regional Finals competition for additional prizes in September or October 2013 (dates and locations TBD).

• If there isn’t an event in your immediate area or your child cannot participate, anyone over the age of 18 may enter to win a Ford vehicle of their choice (up to $30,000): Enter now

• All event participants (individual and team challengers) are provided with a complimentary two-month iSoccer Plus membership.
   
• The first 50 participants onsite will receive a souvenir soccer bag tag and a program t-shirt.
   
• The top-scoring male and female from each age division in the individual skills challenge will receive a prize at the local event’s conclusion in an awards ceremony hosted by the Ford Dealer representative.
   
• The top-scoring male and female team from each age division will be placed on iSoccer’s electronic leaderboard. In September 2013, first-place teams in each region will be determined and awarded a prize!
   
• When a parent or legal guardian registers a child for a local Ford Soccer Skills Challenge event, that adult is automatically entered for a chance to win a Ford vehicle of their choice, up to $30,000 in value!
