The Champions Cup is an invitational tournament that allows some of the most competitive clubs in the country the opportunity to compare their entire club against other top clubs, thereby promoting club loyalty and year-round club competition, and motivating other clubs to build top to bottom competitive club programs.

On-site Registration Information

Registration for the Champions Cup will take place on Wednesday, April 4 from 6-8pm ET behind the All-Star Cafe at Disney's Wide World of Sports Complex. This is the same location as last year. Look for the US Club Soccer signs.

At registration each team should have:

  • Signed Disney waiver forms for every player, coach and manager. (view form)
  • Official US Club Soccer tournament roster (up to 26 players).
  • US Club Soccer passcards for every player, coach and manager.
  • Copies of Proof of Birth documents for every player.
  • Copies of US Club Soccer medical waivers for every player.
  • Completed US Club Soccer Internet Surveys by every player. (view survey)

Any team that has not registered its initial team by Monday, March 26, 2007 (including submitting paperwork and fees) shall be subject to a surcharge for expedited card processing. Cards issued at the tournament site are subject to a surcharge of $4 per card.

Admission Costs to Disney Wide World of Sports Complex

All visitors must pay an admission fee to gain entrance to the Disney Wide World of Sports Complex. Visitors can choose to pay a daily fee or a reduced cost entire event fee (covering all four days):

Adult General Admission Daily Fee: $11.25
Adult General Admission Entire Event Fee: $27.75

Child General Admission Daily Fee (Ages 3-9): $8.50
Child General Admission Entire Event Fee (Ages 3-9): $20.25

2007 Champions Cup Quick Facts
  • The 2007 Champions Cup will be held over Easter Weekend, April 5-8, 2007, at Disney’s Wide World of Sports Complex in Orlando.

  • This is an invitation-only tournament, and is limited to soccer clubs that are members of US Club Soccer, maintain an integrated program of player development, and have competitive teams at the participating age groups.

  • Participants are limited to eight boys and eight girls’ clubs. Clubs will not necessarily be invited to participate in both the boys and girls’ competition. A separate boys and girls’ Club Champion will be determined. Clubs must participate in each of the U13, U15 and U17/U18 age groups (up to five U18 players may be added to the U17 roster). As always, the clubs’ other players may play up to participate.

  • Individual age group winners will be recognized, but the champion will be the club with the most cumulative points from its three age groups at the end of the four days of competition, thus making all games and all age group competitions meaningful for the participating clubs.

2007 Champions Cup Travel Information
  • All hotel rooms for the Champions Cup must be booked through Anthony Travel. Hotel rooms are available at Disney's All-Star Sports Resort and Disney’s Coronado Springs. You may book rooms by calling Anthony Travel at 1-800-736-6377 and referencing the US Club Soccer Champions Cup or by booking online.

  • Theme park tickets are also available through Anthony Travel. Tickets must be purchased by March 12, 2007. To place theme park ticket orders and for more details, call Anthony Travel at 1-800-736-6377 and reference the US Club Soccer Champions Cup or order tickets online.

  • Discounted airline fares for the 2007 Champions Cup are available through American Airlines from April 1-12, 2007. The discount code to take advantage of this offer is available in the "Members Only" section of the US Club Soccer website. Log in, click on the "Club Resources" tab and then the "Discount Codes" link on the left.

  • Avis is the Official Rental Car Supplier for the US Club Soccer Champions Cup. Discounted rental rates are available March 29-April 15, 2007 at the Orlando International Airport, Sanford Orlando International Airport, as well as downtown and suburban locations. The contact information and discount code to take advantage of this offer is available in the "Members Only" section of the US Club Soccer website. Player Profiles for Recruit Books

U17/U18 Team Managers: If you want your players' profiles to be included in the college profile book for the Champions Cup, you need to have all the players' data input into Gotsoccer by Monday, March 26. To input your players' data:

  1. Go to Gotsoccer's Soccer Scheduler - www.soccerscheduler.com.
  2. Click on "Soccer Teams" in the menu on the left column.
  3. Log in using the login information you set up when you applied your team for the Champions Cup.
  4. Once logged in, click on the "Roster" link in the gray horizontal menubar.
  5. Add your players' profiles by clicking the "Add Player" button in the bottom left. Edit your players' profiles by clicking on the respective link for each player under the ID column.
