Youth World Series - Burlington, N.C.

US Club Soccer, in conjunction with Triangle FC, is hosting a Youth World Series event Oct. 6-7 at Springwood Park in Burlington, N.C., which is located off of I-85/I-40 and is approximately 25 miles from Greensboro, 30 miles from Chapel Hill and 60 miles from Raleigh. The Youth World Series provides an introductory tournament experience to US Club Soccer's youngest members.

Competition: Boys and Girls’ U9-U12 teams will participate in the Youth World Series event in Burlington, N.C. Each participating team will play a minimum of three games and be allowed a maximum of three guest players.

  • U9-U10s will play 6 a side, 25 minute halves, max of 11 players
  • U11-U12s will play 8 a side, 30 minute halves, max of 14 players

Application: This event is open to all US Club Soccer academy, club and league teams. Apply online at https://www.gotsport.com/forms/app/?eventid=1754. Then mail a check for your event fee to Triangle FC (see below). Youth World Series Burlington, N.C. applications and fees are due by Friday, Sept. 14. Event Fee:

  • U9-U10 Teams: $350
  • U11-U12 Teams: $400

Registration: Registration will take place at Springwood Park one hour prior to each team's first game on Saturday, Oct. 6. Each team should send one representative to registration with:

  • All US Club Soccer player and coaches passes
  • One copy of the team's US Club Soccer roster
  • All player medical release forms

Awards: Age group champions and finalists, the golden ball winner (top scorer), best offensive team, best defensive team and an all-tournament team will be honored.
