NEP State Cup

The 2018 NEP State Cup series consisted of five state championship events for 13-U through 18/19-U boys and girls teams: the Connecticut Cup, Maine Cup, Massachusetts Cup, New Hampshire Cup and Rhode Island Cup. Winning teams qualified for the National Cup XVII Finals, July 20-24 at Aurora Sports Park in Aurora, Colorado.

This was the fourth year NEP hosted state championship events. In its first year (2015), four state cup winners went on to win national championships. The next year (2016), 14 of the 40 total champions and second place finishers of the National Cup XV Finals came from an NEP State Cup. The following year (2017), eight champions and five finalists from the NEP emerged on the winners’ stage at the National Cup XVI Finals. And, just this past summer (2018), four champions and six finalists advanced to the final day of the National Cup XVII Finals.

In 2017, 59 talented teams will represent the NEP at the National Cup XVI Finals after qualifying through one of the five NEP State Cups. The organization also annually sends highly rated referee crews to both the National Cup Finals, Girls NPL Finals and ENPL National Finals.
