TULSA, Okla. | The first Regional of the National Cup XVIII slate concluded on Monday after four days of competition at Mohawk Sports Complex. Ultimately, 16 champions representing 11 clubs reigned victorious in the second annual South Central Regional.
Held June 14-17 in Tulsa, Oklahoma, the tournament featured 13-U through 19-U boys and girls teams competing among Super Group (most competitive) and Premier Group divisions. In total, 76 teams from Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas and Nebraska participated.

The same tight margin accompanied seven of 10 games in the 17-U Girls Super Group and seven of 13 games in the 15-U Boys Super Group.
“The South Central Regional was another very competitive, very organized event," said David Bolding, coach of the back-to-back champion TSC Hurricane, which won the 19-U Girls Super Group this year. "Our club loves this event because of the competition, and it provides our club a great measuring stick at the end of our season. We have played in this event both years and it is firmly on our soccer calendar for many years to come. The pathway it provides to the national finals in Colorado is also very exciting to my girls. We are excited to win the Regional again and excited to see if we can win nationals this year."
In other National Cup XVIII Regionals action, the West Regional concludes Tuesday afternoon. The remaining Regional schedule is as follows:
