The Regional Elite Development (RED) League will launch in September 2019 to provide regional play and further development to teams in the state of Florida. This new platform from the Florida Premiership will support local boys and girls teams in the 9-U through 19-U age groups.
The RED league will allow teams to play more high-level games in local regions against like-minded organizations. It also gives aspirations to teams to reach the premiership club level of play. Competing teams will play 14-20 games per season (September-May), with 8-12 games held in fall/winter and 6-8 games in the spring.
All players must be registered with US Club Soccer and all applying teams must have their club admins complete a club application to Florida Premiership via the club application link for the 2019-20 season to be eligible. League participation will cost $195 per team.
