The SoCal Premier Soccer League, a leader in providing adult soccer opportunities in the region, is accepting team registration to its annual Copa California competition. Through a partnership with NorCal Premier, this tournament – to begin later this year and run through June – is a true state championship event for adult members throughout California.
Details of the Copa California are available here, and the registration form is available here until Nov. 3. There are different divisions based on competition levels: Premier (most competitive), 2nd Division, 3rd Division and Over 30. Schedules will be released later this month. General information on registering your team for Copa California or other SoCal Premier League programming is available at socalpremier.org/join.
Beyond the Copa California, SoCal Premier members are notable competitors in the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup. The third round of 2020 qualifying games includes a matchup of SoCal Premier representatives L.A. Monsters FC and Chula Vista FC in late November.
While the majority of SoCal Premier members are adults, the league is growing its youth membership base, as well. Interested teams/clubs should contact SoCal Premier president Matthew Morse at firstname.lastname@example.org.
