US Club Soccer’s partnership with LaLiga has educated nearly 1,500 coaches across the country through its LaLiga Formation Methodology coaching series. But those aren’t the only times LaLiga methodologies have been shared with the U.S. market. The first United Soccer Coaches Convention of the new decade marked the fifth Convention that US Club Soccer and LaLiga have co-presented educational sessions. The 2020 edition in Baltimore added hundreds more coaches from Thursday’s field session and Friday’s classroom session to the grand total of LaLiga impact.
Thursday’s field session was dedicated to helping coaches effectively train progression on the field – specifically, how to effectively build from the back and advance down the field. Friday’s classroom session glanced at LaLiga’s international projects collectively before going into detail about specific training session structures that LaLiga academies use to develop world-class players.
In addition to its presence in the classroom and on the field, US Club Soccer also presented a large Players First-themed booth, where current and prospective members could meet with US Club Soccer membership services representatives.
Other highlights included the ENPL/NPL Annual General Meeting and an exclusive breakfast for Players First-licensed clubs, presented by Beyond Pulse.
