US Club Soccer member organization administrators,
As a reminder, because SafeSport training is an annual requirement, all individuals with a 2019-21 US Club Soccer staff membership/registration who have not completed SafeSport training on or after June 1, 2020, are ineligible (as of August 1, 2020).
For US Club Soccer registration purposes, SafeSport training ...
All impacted individuals have been sent several automated emails throughout June and July with the link to complete or sync training to US Club Soccer’s National Registration System (NRS), powered by SportsEngine. However, we know some of them have not yet completed this step.
How to complete or sync SafeSport training for US Club Soccer registration purposes:
When clicking on the applicable link to complete the SafeSport eligibility requirement, one will be prompted to either complete the next training or enter a SafeSport certificate number to sync a completed training using the new SafeSport Lookup functionality.
Please note that each training must be completed or synced sequentially (Core → Refresher 1 → Refresher 2), and one will be prompted to take or sync the next training based on the information currently on file within the NRS. Additionally, because a Refresher 3 course is not yet fully available, those who previously completed Refresher 2 will be prompted to retake it again via the NRS.
How to send additional reminder emails to affected individuals:
As an org administrator with permissions within the NRS, you may send automated eligibility reminder emails individually or en masse to those with outstanding requirements. Those emails included links to complete the required training. Here are instructions: https://help.sportsengine.com/en/articles/1160.
Thanks for your time and commitment to Player Health and Safety.
