Registration is now open for the new LaLiga Virtual Coaching Series by Verizon, with digital classes taking place from late October through mid-November. While LaLiga has provided valuable, in-person educational opportunities to thousands of coaches through LaLiga Formation Methodology, this LaLiga Virtual Coaching Series represents a concerted effort to make coach education more accessible. US Club Soccer, LaLiga and Verizon are thrilled to bring more educational opportunities to an entirely virtual platform for the first time.
Four “Master classes” will be available for paid viewing over a period of four weeks, with each week dedicated to one Master class. Each of these classes will be shown a total of eight times – four times in English and four times in Spanish – with a varied viewing schedule to accommodate various times zones and schedules. LaLiga Master class certificates are earned upon the completion of these courses.
Weekly topics are as follows:
Week 1, October 26: LaLiga Training Methodology: Daily Application and Coaching Intervention
Week 2, November 2: Building and Implementing a Game Model in Youth Soccer Development
Week 3, November 9: Analyzing a Player Profile in Training and Competition
Week 4, November 16: Sports Psychology and Team Management in Women’s Soccer
In addition to paid Master class sessions, LaLiga will also provide special supplemental, no-cost content every Monday. These sessions will be offered in roundtable and case study formats with international clubs, and will be available for viewing two times in either English or Spanish.
Roundtable and case study topics are as follows:
Week 1, October 26: Athletic Club – Case Study & Roundtable (English)
Week 2, November 2: Real Betis Balompié – Case Study (Spanish)
Week 3, November 9: Villarreal C.F – Case Study & Roundtable (English)
Week 4, November 16: RCD Espanyol de Barcelona – Case Study & Roundtable (English)
Registration information and more details are available on the LaLiga Coach Education web page.
