New and free resources for parents are available via the U.S. Center for SafeSport, including the “Parent’s Guide to Misconduct in Sport” online course and a variety of toolkits, which address misconduct issues in sport and help parents ensure their children have the most positive and safest experience possible.
That model aligns with US Club Soccer’s Players First philosophy, of which Player Health and Safety is one of five pillars. These resources supplement the SafeSport Trained course, which is required to be completed by all individuals coaching, managing or working with US Club Soccer-registered youth players as part of the staff registration process.
US Club Soccer encourages all parents to take this course and familiarize themselves with the additional resources. US Club Soccer also encourages all member clubs and organizations to forward these resources to all parents associated with their clubs and organizations.
Please see below for more information.
